program needs 400 megs of hard drive
space and 64 megs of RAM memory. |

The
program assumes a sound card. Check that the sound icon is on your
task bar and "mute" is unchecked. If your sound is connected
to speakers, make sure they are turned on and the volume is up. In
the classroom, this system should be used with headphones. Students
need to repeat sentences out loud. |

Be patient. The CD should open by itself.

The
CD has two install setups: one for Windows 95,
98, ME and XP. This install includes a text-to-speech
engine. |

is a separate install program for Windows 2000.
It leaves the text-to-speech engine out because 2000 already
has one.
Choose an operating system. Follow the wizard. Give the program time
to load the lessons. |

icon on your desktop. To access the authoring tools, use the Start
